They say that it is just not worth it to stay. The unconditional love that they have for their babies is more than they could ever have for their abusive partners. Even if you are not so sure as to whether or not domestic violence can cause harm to your pregnancy, you should act on that doubt, and get out. The spousal abuse that you encounter may cause you to experience more pain than you ordinarily would have, due to the premature birth. If you have a premature birth due to domestic violence, this is also very harmful to your baby. By the spousal abuse inducing early labor, your baby also has major health risks at hand. Their health is at risk because they are not in the weight class that they need to be, in order to sustain the most healthy life.
